Mitchell Riser started at Hangar 24 as a packager and rose all the way up become a brewer before he made the move to Hermosa Beach to helm the Brewery at Abigaile, a hidden haunt with inventive food and perfectly crafted beers. Just a short hike from the beach, it’s a modest-sized brewpub, but the food and the beer both reflect much bigger aspirations. The food menu, created by Executive Chef Tin Vuong, is stocked with rotating menu options like a “pho” salad, a salmon club sandwich and P.I.G. “pop tarts”.
