Nestled in an industrial park just North of the 134, Brewyard is located on what is (kind of) being called The San Fernando Brewing Corridor. Opened by two homebrewers in 2015, they’ve got a 4,500 square foot brewery and are using it to bubble up some tasty like a India Pale Lager, Cali Common, and a Black Lager which means they taste like ales with the crisp, clean profile of a lager. Their taproom is super comfy and interesting with elements of a neighborhood Belgian pub, board games, and a (fully functional) 1930’s vintage pickup truck. Their building is a little tough to find, but it’s worth the hunt.
A favorite: Tropico Saison with passion fruit.
